Teen Programs

Teen’s Anime
The NRPL Teens Anime Club is for teens in 7th–12th grades who are fans of Japanese anime and manga, and want to connect with other fans, check out new and classic anime, and plan related programs. The club meets biweekly, on Wednesdays from 4:00–6:00 pm, during the school year.

Seasonal Programs
When school’s out during the summer, the library offers a cool retreat for free workshops—including cooking, dance, films, and other programs suggested by and for teens, entering grades 6–12. All are free and available on a drop-in basis, usually after 4:00 pm.

Summer Reading Programs and Activities

A summer reading challenge lets students entering grades 7–12 read for their own enjoyment AND collect prizes, extra credit for school, and an invitation to an end-of-summer party. Sign-up at the end of June or beginning of July at the second floor information desk.
