Registration For Preschool Programs
At Libraries
The New Rochelle Public Library and the
Huguenot Children's Library will begin their winter-spring season for free
programs for infants, toddlers and preschool children the week of January
21. Registration for the Main Library programs begins on Monday, January 14
during regular library hours. Registration will be accepted on a first-come,
first-served basis, and requires that parents bring their New Rochelle
Public Library cards. Registration will not be required for the programs at
Huguenot Children's Library (HCL).

The programs at the New Rochelle Public Library that
require registration are:
Preschool Story Time & Craft, for children ages three to five years.
Parents may choose one of two sessions: every Monday from
January 28
-
May 19, from 10:00 - 10:45 am; or every Thursday from January 24 - May
22, from
10:00 - 10:45 am or 2:00 - 2:45 pm. Preschool Story Hours will not
take place on days the New Rochelle Schools are closed for vacations.
The following programs at the main library are drop-in,
registration is not required.
Nursery Rhyme Time, for children ages 12 months to 24 months,
meets every Friday, January 25 - May 23, from 9:30 - 9:50 am,
(except school vacation days).
Toddler Time, for children age two years, meets every
Friday, January 25 - May 23, from 10:30 - 11:00 am,
(except school vacation days).
The Huguenot Children's Library programs are all drop-in;
registration is not required.
Toddler Time, for children age two years, meet every Tuesday,
from January 22 - May 20, from 10:30 - 11:00 am, (except school
vacation days).
Preschool Story Time & Craft, for children ages 3 to 5 years.
Parents may choose one of two sessions: every Thursday, January 24 -
May 22, from 1:30 - 2:15 pm, (except February 22 and April 5);
or every Friday, from January 25 - May 23, from 10:30 - 11:15 am,
(except school vacation days).
Foreign Language Story Hour – Spanish
Saturday, May 17, 2:00 – 4:00 pm

Hear wonderful stories in Spanish, make a traditional craft to take home and
enjoy a snack.
Kindergarten Library Card Sign Up
Saturday, May 17 - Saturday, May 31
All day for 2 weeks, at the main Library and Huguenot Children’s
Library. Have your child sign-up for a library card and receive a
special gift, compliments of the Partnership for the Huguenot Children’s
Library.
