Science Cafe Science cafes are gaining momentum across America – now New Rochelle will host its own, at the library and various local restaurants. Like events in other major cities, the New Rochelle Science Café will involve lively conversations with renowned and “accessible” scientists about current science topics. Open to everyone, the events are designed to be informal, welcoming gatherings with inclusive discussions in plain language. No experience is necessary! Scientists and non-scientists are encouraged to participate in the monthly sessions, made possible through a partnership between the library, Dr. Jerome Levkov at Iona College, and the New Rochelle Downtown BID. Join us for the first evening that will generate stimulating conversation, cutting edge information, and insightful questions for further personal exploration.
